Nicaragua

Reporting from San Juan Del Sur, Nicaragua. On Wednesday we drove to Durango, Colorado. Were we flew to Dallas, Texas and from there to Miami, Florida. We stayed the night there and that morning flew to Managua, Nicaragua! We had a private shuttle waiting there that drove us the two hours to San Juan Del Sur. The drive was eventful (not anything different than normal here just I'm not used to it) There were alot of tin roof shacks, houses with one or two walls, lots of people on the street with baskets on there head, ect... Here they drive alot different than what I'm used too. They do not stay on a certain side they pass when someone is coming right around the corner. They honk at everyone and drive as fast as the car can go.

When arriving we went into the condo I was worried but it was very nice (with four walls) there is two bedrooms the upstairs is Logan and carters me and my mom share the down stairs bedroom. A very nice kitchen were finding out not very many pots and pans but it will do. As soon as we got unpacked we went to the restaurant we can not read the menu so i didn't get a pasta as i had planned but i could figure out the Hawaiian pizza so i ordered that and the food was delicious. We then went swimming with was very fun as always.

Our first full day we went into town on a tucktuck we first went to the beach first then to the park were a party like thing was happening wit music and lots of people it was very fun we ate ice cream and went on our way. We went to a restaurant on the beach to get pizza and pasta we could not read the pasta menu so we told the waitress to pick for us. The pizza was delicious and the pasta was topped with a ton of sea food but very good.  We then went to the Pali and got grocery's then head home.

When getting ready to make dinner (pasta and red sauce) I went to the cupboard were the pots and pans are and found we only have a tiny pot so we put as much as we could and planned on doing multiple batches when the pasta was done we warmed up the "red sauce" well it was not quite that. The ketchup we had bought was not what we  thought it was so we tossed that and had some noodles and butter. But all was well.  lol!!

Well all for today but ill talk to you later
